Dave -no it isn't you have cherry picked the answers to prove your biased point. Do you know who or what decides you are 'fat' -what is considered a high percent of body fat in a man or women? Most of the simple weight charts are based on Lambert Adolphe Jacques Quetelet, a Belgian astronomer, mathematician, statistician, and sociologist, devised it in the 1830s. The charts aimed to estimate whether a person has a healthy weight by dividing their weight in kilograms (kg) by their height in meters (m) squared. Not taking into account muscle mass of bone size just 'weight'.
I'm not looking for an excuse -I'm a size 12 with a 28 inch waist but my BMI and weight charts class me as 'over weight. I do know people eat vast amounts of food and wobble about but as the OP suggested -I think those sorts of people know exactly why they are the size they are. My point was don't put everyone in the same boat....ha ha it wouldn't get outa the harbour would it :o)
