It's getting no better as Greggs have had to discontinue the production of
one of their best sellers "sausage bean and cheese melts " through lack of supplies.

Looks like we have been having prosecco shortages for the last 6 years

That is enough feeding of the troll for today
//Don't think I will be going to the UK christmas then.//

Well, if that's the only positive to come from Brexit, it's all been worth it.
If there is a shortage of Prosecco a handy alternative comprising a mouthwash of diluted bleach and a half brick to kickstart the 'hangover' by applying same to forehead with gusto is available.
for the last 6 years

not what it says though, Stickybottle, is it?
Douglas, it's Prosecco, you'll have to put the bleach through a Soda Stream to get that authentic Prosecco feel.
You're right of course, Mozz.

Apologies to anyone who rushed out to try the alternative and was disappointed.

Quite widespread...

//Jaguar Land Rover has been forced to shut down car production at one of its key factories for a week amid a global shortage of computer chips.

Assembly line workers will return to JLR’s Halewood factory on Merseyside on Monday after a week of producing no vehicles. The plant makes the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque models, although it has struggled with supply issues throughout the year.

Every big carmaker in the world has acknowledged the effects of the shortage of chips, also known as semiconductors, which are used in cars to control everything from batteries to windscreen wipers.//
Got a couple of bottles of Prosecco somewhere, they'll probably still be there in the New Year.
Rarely do I do this but I have reported Gully for his gratuitous gross insult to Mozz above. A pity it's the weekend.
Prosecco is the modern day version of Babysham
