RH the video is taken at a hunt meeting -its pretty obvious if you look at the way they are dressed and the fact she is described as a 'huntswoman'.

Anyone who think Hunts only use a dragged scent now is being very naive -nearly every meet there is an 'accident' where an 'unfortunate' fox gets chased, and sometimes killed. These Morons enjoy chasing animals -how can you defend that?

Well I got ignored a lot before so I guess I will be totally ignored now.

I have ridden in hunts many times over the years and have never abused my horse.
APG whilst I have not ridden in a hunt for several years I do know friends that still do and I have heard of 'accidents' but they are really rare.

RH I'm sure some 'nice' people who are not cruel to their horses go hunting occasionally. In my experience those folks who hunt regularly, the old school' brigade, treat their horses fairly badly. They bring them up from grass, clip them out fully, flog them hunting, jumping wire, stone walls etc, then at the end of the season throw them back out in the field sometimes without a rug. When they have no more use -lame or too old, the Huntsman shoots them and they feed the horse to the hounds. The actual hounds have a similar fate, getting euthanized when they are too old, around 8 years old.

Not at all
But as I said some of those who are entitled and have their pony bought for them by daddy tend to treat animals as a commodity as opposed to something to be cherished and cared for
We have seen how hunts treat saboteurs and foxes
Some treat their hunting animals in the same manner

It was Tony Blair's fault APG, he left a loophole when he 'banned' fox hunting, meaning they can participate in so called drag hunting and of course the hunters abuse this and still kill foxes, and seem to be above the law regarding it also !!

BurleyShirley, I know, I've heard people bragging in the pub about how they get around the laws. The Hunts keep a fund going for anyone who gets fined for breaking the Law. There is no need for drag hunting these days and farmers are becoming less welcoming year on year.

Shirley, I've been bitten on the bottom by a horse when I was stupid enough to bend down in a field and I've very deliberately been kicked by a horse when I was stupid enough to walk behind him.
I have very nearly been crushed to death when a very big horse thought I was a comfy cushion to lean against, but I think he was being affectionate.
I still love horses, but I know some will sometimes deliberately hurt us. I'm sure I heard him laughing after he kicked me :D
