The Mail has got its trolleys in robble over the 'sleaze' accusations regarding this politician.
I wonder whether the angst is caused less by the fact that Sir Geoffrey has a second job, or the fact that me makes a serious amount of money from doing it?
The Mail is making much of the fact that he works in 'dodgy tax havens' and makes millions doing it.
Sir Geoffrey advises he has not broken any rules, and it's difficult to see that he actually has.
Making millions may be something for the Mail to pump up their jealous small-minded readership about, but that does not make it illegal.

My thought ( one only) is that it is not about illegality
it is about standards that are set in that er profession ( PP says that v softly) . - doctors are not allowed to sleep wiv dair patients. Nothing wrong wiv dat xc you dont have a licence. They cant prescribe for themselves or their families
Policemen holiday s from criminals ( sort of) .
Geoffrey Cox has somewhat lamely said the voters should decide altho it is once every four years.
All the cant the MPs came out with over trials, defences, witnesses, cross exam, apply to criminal trials and not standards hearings

gully 's usual anti tory chant - - - applies I think
I think Geoff may be skewered by using his office for a Very Lucrative Hearing and may be done for a payment - not in proportion to the Very Large Fee he deserves but for the use ( say £100 knicker)
deserves, nay well deserved nay worked hard for.....
