Setting aside the masturbation in public -which I would think more straight men are convicted of than transgender , that's a disgusting and in humane thing to say and think about another human being.

If a woman is trapped in a mans body they are not a 'thing' and you calling this person such says a lot more about you than the person struggling with their Gender.

I have a close relative by marriage who has decided on gender reassignment man to woman. He is a lovely person with a full-time job and a wife, and we were recently asked to call him 'her' from now on. His place of work have been very accepting, even my dyed in the wool Teesdale farmer husband now calls him ' Lass' .

Everyone should be able to respect people's right to lead their lives how they choose. This place is becoming a hive of bigots .

Totally agree. She is a she, and needs help, and respect. But has no genuine way at a to claim knowing how a man feels

To try to calm it down a little... ! This is coming back now. I know, from the media, it seems to be getting more common- however, the most and worst examples are actually a long time ago, and weren't really published. I can't say PC reasons, as I don't think misogyny particularly is. But, fear, maybe.

Imv, this is coming back again, and the more that is publicised now, the more general outrage there is. Give it 5 years.

APG, I don’t respect his right to live his life as he chooses. I think he’s disgusting. Shirley is right. Calling him a woman is an insult to women. In fact I think calling any man who ‘identifies’ as a woman ‘a woman’ is an insult to women. Men aren’t women. That’s it. They’re not.

I fully agree that there probably are more "straight men" than "transgender men". The real question is more... how many "transgender women" have been caught doing the same?

As this entity is in the midst of transition almost everyone I know would refer to the person as ‘it’
