All we ever hear about is the number of infections and these numbers are used to justify everyone running around like headless chickens. Apparently its looking like it's no more dangerous than the delta variant, so what's the problem for goodness sake? I'm getting increasingly frustrated and angry by the stupid over the top reactions of government and lockdown maniacs. When are they all going to get a bloody grip?!?

Lat Flow are accurate if you have a careful tester after five tests.
and yes I would keep away from anyone whosaid he had tested positive

Where would the nurses come from?
Where would the cleaners and paramedic staff come from?
Where would the medical staff come from?

Anyone who has nursed patients in strict isolation will tell you it is far more tiring and add in any increase in deaths in that patient group you will get higher rates of burnout therefore long term sickness, often resulting in that person leaving to work elsewhere. If this goes on as it is we will struggle as more staff leave or are on long term sick because they can't face going in for another shift.

Those who resist vaccination will possibly all end up facing one of those nurses who while trying to keep them alive is thinking ' someone who is very good at flipping pankcakes'

I agree Dave. There is a lot of doom mongering going on from some scientists. Omicron is not very dangerous and Boris had the right idea, the lockdowns are over and lets get on with our lives, taking care.

TV standard figure over the last few weeks - - often given as 32:1
which is over 90%
and I think reflects the non mathematical nature of the hacks

The Government this week reduced the time between the second jab and the booster to 3 months rather than 6 months.
They ere compelled to do that because the data on the number of new infections wasn’t reducing as much as they hoped.
We need to compile the number of infections occurring in order to tell if the vaccination policy is working. And if it isn’t, to tweak the polcy like we have just done.
Closing our eyes to the raw data because we are afraid of where it might be leading is both foolish and counter productive in beating Covid.
