I know a few people who refuse to be vaccinated and I doubt a knock at the door will change that. There is no point in trying to persuade them. One of my mates said that her brother couldn't spend Christmas day with her as he and his family had covid despite having been triple jabbed. I tried to explain that vaccinated people can still get covid but they are less...

Struggling with the figures roy ?
Yes vaccinated people can still sadly die from covid
This is generally as a result of other underlying conditions that exacerbate covid
The 23% you refer to gave themselves minimal chance by refusing the vaccine
You completely ignored all the other data though so I will post it for those who follow the thread :
Prof Rupert Pearse, an intensive care doctor at the Royal London and Barts, confirmed to the BBC that up to 90% of his patients were unvaccinated. He said: “It’s very sad that people are vaccine-hesitant, but we understand the reasons, and we are happy to talk about people’s fears about getting vaccinated. There is absolutely no doubt that it’s protecting the population.”
Jo-anne Fowles, a nurse consultant in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) – a procedure for providing prolonged cardiac and respiratory support – at the Royal Papworth told ITV Anglia: “82% of the patients we have treated for Covid-19 since February have been unvaccinated.”
On Sunday the health secretary, Sajid Javid, said about nine out of 10 Covid patients needing the most care in hospital had not been jabbed. This figure is believed to refer to those requiring ECMO, according to Anthony Masters, an ambassador for the Royal Statistical Society. He said information provided by NHS England showed that of the 154 Covid patients receiving ECMO between July to November, 141 , or 92%, were unvaccinated.
In short :
Stop wasting valuable nhs resources with your stupidity

Just one question roy
As you are unjabbed
If you were unfortunate enough to suffer the effects of covid to the point you needed hospitalisation would you still go and swallow your hypocrisy or would you have the courage to stand by your convictions and not trouble the medics and doctors and nurses ?
Such an easy one even you could provide a simple yes or no
Which is it ?

If it was the unvaxxed keeping cancer patients out of a ICU beds..where on earth were the vaccinated people who died of covid kept prior to their death if not in a ICU bed?

No problem
By the same reasoning can we persuade them not to attend the hospital if they fall ill ?

Jesus.
You are telling me the unvaccinated were in the ICU and the vaccinated were on a general ward?
LOL LOL

Sigh
Yes
Yet again for the hard of understanding it is the unvaccinated who are taking up the majority of the itu beds as shown in all the links and the empirical evidence
