First question is about some bash from 18 months ago. Been going over 6 minutes now and finally we are going to talk about the subject for which the guy is there. Is every interview now going to be hijacked by party gate? Is there any chance the meeja can deal with any other news items?

I suppose once it's all in the open, i.e. they stop lying through their teeth, journalists can move on.
Tora, your post seems to fit in on what I just posted on Gully's thread!

I don't give rats April about an alleged bash in the middle of the year before last but am interested in the smart motorway fiasco. Every news story is now hijacked by the presenter wanting to throw another ball at aunt sally.

As Douglas said ,after the debacle of the PMs own making, hopefully we can move on to world news again
Y'know Tora, sometimes you just need to take a moment to reflect.

Some of your recent stuff is Trumpesque in its brass neckedness.

Sensible TTT. So I'll post it here

/it was embarrassingly sparse on the Con bench in the house yeterday/

Minty, you are right. But I've never seen the other side so full in years. Obviously really enjoying all this, more than a normal working day. I'm surprised they didn't bring popcorn with them! That's politics for you!!
There'll probably be queues for seats today and the angry labour ladies will really be having a great time, especially Angela the fish wife!

Boo hoo ttt. That’s life for you a politician who lies .

Tora , don’t take the bait
Why do journalists ask (and be paid for) questions that they know they won't get answered? Is it that, one day, they hope to catch the interviewee out? We've had it with the covid press briefings and those annoying people who screech out outside No 10 e.g. "Will you be resigning Minister?"
Anne, I'm still angry. Your one liners are getting very Gully like!! ;0)
//Pat/Bobbie, I urge everyone to ignore the troll threads from Gulliver. Perhaps together we can save the Answerbank turning into Trollbank.//

exactly wot I said some months ago!
