...this savage was reported by multiple victims over several years yes remained prolific. Are the police so terrified of being called racist/Islamophobic that they let this go. In the end the FBI got involved and finally another Islamic groomer and serial abuser is in jail but how many of his atrocious crimes could have been prevented? What has happened to plod? All they seem to want to do these days in trawl Twitface in case someone says the wrong thing.

Perhaps they are afraid of being treated like Tommy Robinson, by their bosses, if they investigate and identify the paedophiles.

The Police appear to have been slow, unsympathetic, untrained and incompetent.
The accusation that they might have let him go because he was a muslim doesn’t stand up. Part of the problem was that they couldn’t identify him because the messages were end-to-end encrypted. It was deep into their investigation that they discovered his true identity.
Like most things wrong wth today's policing it's probably due to lack of training.

I read that as, the UK police didn’t have a clue of who they were dealing with until the FBI gave them a name.
