I hoped I'd never see that ghastly woman's face again. Such a hard, cold manner about her.
Let's hope she is as successful as the last time she attempted to break into politics. She sure has a mighty high opinion of herself.

It will go the same way as UKIP did after brexit or that one that Anna Soubry started, that none of us can even remember the name of now.

"The Independent Group for Change". or Change UK. Founded in March 2019 and dissolved the following December when the three candidates who stood on that ticket (including Soubry) all came a distant third or fourth. Soubry performed best of the three polling 8.5% of the votes cast. Five other former members stood in the same election either as independents or for the Liberal Democrats. All lost.

It seems silly now but politics went a bit mad for a while.

I don’t really understand why people set up their own political parties here. Completely futile - and potentially expensive

Perhaps she's suffering under the delusion that all the Remainers will vote for her with the ultimate aim of re-joining the EU. I suspect she will go whistle.
