// After Life has its funny moments but it is more drama than comedy, taking seriously its exploration of loss, depression and the resilience of optimism. If you've not seen it, consider it a must-see, even for those who are not fans of Gervais. Mar 29, 2020 | Rating: 4/5 | Full Review… Ricky Gervais at his best. \\
And finally (LOL), AB's opinions on him.

True indeed, roy - like many other people today, I have little time for some of the current people trading under the generic name of gypsy/traveller - their impact upon the society which I value is largely negative. That doesn't mean I would send them to the gas chambers though, or even laugh at a 'joke' celebrating it.
Also, the gypsies of the 1930s/1940s were a different matter - largely living outside society but (crucially) not leeching upon it or even interacting much with it - which only made their extermination by the Nazis even more abhorrent (if indeed that was possible).
There are things that are beyond my comprehension - getting cheap laughs out victims of The Holocaust is one of them.

I'd like him to see that actions have consequences - I can't see how any public money (BBC or C4) should be going his way for a very long time. I'd hope the pressure from advertisers would keep commercial companies from indulging him.
If he can still make a living doing live shows then that's fine (if disappointing).

I have, LB and I'll have a look when I'm not engrossed in Reacher. Blame Alba.
What would I do with him, Pixie? Well I wouldn't do anything with him. Wouldn't let him near me as I've always found him creepy.
I'd be pleased if he didn't work again but that won't surprise you as you've been around long enough to know that sweet as I am I am not a forgiving person....remember the pink fondant fancy at the Coronation tea in 1953..... :-)
