*** payout, whilst understandable is nauseating and only goes to alienate the majority of the public from the Police even more. And probably alienate the boot on on the ground coppers from the useless seniors too.

We have to stop payouts for failure in the civil service. This is taxpayers money.

No, not directly. But that is the net result though isnt it. She was grossly incompetent, forced to resign and now get half a mill payout from the tax payers.

there is case law on this: minister cdnt get maternity benefit cos not employed...( I think, I dont go much on MPs contracts if any)
