Facebook-Twitter Suspensions Bans Rescinded.

I venture into Facebook and Twitter now and again.A week ago ago i posted on Twitter calling for the immediate assassination of Putin.Twitter immediately banned me from their site and told me i had no right of appeal and i would be banned from their site for life.Permanently banned forever.Today i got an e-mail from them telling me that everything is hunky-dory and apologising profusely for my suspension.Do these social media peeps live in the real world?

They probably picked up on a few key banned words. A lot of online bullying would contain simiar language trying to encourage people to kill themselves (or others). It sounds like your post picked up a few red flags and was initially banned before being reviewed by a real person and exonerated.

@08.14.I havent been on Facebook for a while.I may go on today and call for the immediate assassination of Putin to see what FB does.Will i be instantly banned,only to be welcomed back with open arms two weeks down the line?

What is most telling is that TwittFace have the pwoer to tell you who you can post hate or death threats to.

IMHO if you ban it then you ban it for all, you (Twitface et al) cannot make exceptions because of your political beliefs.

Facebook has banned it in EU countries but not here.
However don’t expect a quick response
