No and thus they would be no match for the Ukrainians.

However Vlad isnt as mad so his idea is probably to through canon fodder on one flank and then use the elite troops he does have to come in on the other. The sheer numbers may well cause confusion.

Of course the big problem there is, as we now know, his logistics are not up to any of that. He cant cater for what is there let alone another 16K. Unless it is to replace the "16K" the Ukrainians have already killed?

This is to do with the Wagner group - chechen mercenaries and criminals - they recently were 'in' Mali maiming and shooting and paid by the Malian govt. Macron walked out in a huff - no French aid if the Wagner group were there
AND
according to France inter - three loads of Wagner group mercenaries were uploaded in Mali and download in Ukraine ( russian controlled) -
they can rape maim and gas - and NOT be the Russian army....

not so much an interesting stunt on AB as a run up to more war crimes by walk-ins other than the Red Army

I heard the other day about the Chechens and Wagner group being pulled in - in fact it is some time ago that the Wagner group began to be pulled back from Africa. I wish I could remember exactly when & where I heard it. It really is very bad news. OH and I were discussing it and remembering the outrages by Chechens in the past.

It has happened throughout time that mercenaries have been drawn to conflicts. Putin wants to legitimise it, and they are coming from the world to help Ukraine.
