The worst cost of living crisis for 40 years. Gas and electric bills doubling. And Johnson hails a 5p reduction in duty at the petrol pump as a great victory.
Not good enough, and the public aren’t impressed.
Johnson lurches from one crisis to another like the equally inept James Callaghan did years ago. With Sunak doing his Denis Healy impersonation (high inflation, record borrowing) it does look like history repeating.
My view is that the very large majority the Conservatives currently have will be severely reduced. But they will still have the most MPs.
Wishful thinking from me, they may be in no majority territory.
Naomi, he comes here looking for an argument and likes to goad people. A bit like some others here who are often called trolls. If my terminology is wrong I'd be grateful for an explanation. This online world is still very strange to me in the way the conventional norms of civility are sometimes ignored.
Atheist // he comes here looking for an argument and likes to goad people//
I don't think TTT posts looking for an argument, no more than anyone else who posts on here.
When the OP says "Another masterful performance from the PM.
.....Ok, let's have it!", it seems to me that's exactly what he's looking for. He's not asking a question, he's looking for a bit of fun goading or arguing with those of different views from his own. His hobby is arguing, like many others here; it gives them a bit of fun in life. I'm sure Naomi will be able to fill me in on the correct terminology .
