Unfortunately Gromits OP is correct. IMHO we do not have a Tory party in Government, we have Blue labour with a heavy tinge of green. What I dont understand is why dedicated Tories, of which I am one, dont fight to get rid of Johnson and his ruddy wife. They are not only wrecking the Party but the country too. As for the old but but labour, I'm afraid that is a false...
Yes we have problems at home and always will have some sort of unrest.
But the way things are heading you may not have to worry who's calling the shots here. I would be more focused on the madman in the Kremlin who could wipe this country off the map with 1 strike.
Sleaze and shambles - Not Boris’ fault.
Dire immigration - Not Priti’s fault.
High taxes, inflation, cost of living - Not Rishi’s fault.
And there is no defence, only pathetic jibes of ‘why don’t you emigrate’, it would have been worse if Labour were in power and it is all someone else's fault.
All the problems highlighted in the OP are on par with the economy being closed down (almost) for 2 years. I didn't see anyone complain when our government decided to pay 80% of peoples income during the lock downs. For the ones on here who seem to be in the know, how long do your think its going to take to get the economy back up and running again.
Plus , who's going to do that for us, while we sit and complain???
// what are you complaining about if the government is doing what it set out to do? //
No it isn’t, it is doing the longest U-turn in history.
2010: Cut 20,000 police.
2015: Er why is crime out of control?
2019: We will employ 20,000 police
2024: That’s mended. Shame the population is 5 million more (probably all the foreigners they’ve let in).

Better at what ? They are both good at Knocking Kids out. Between them they could form a football team.
// Today’s Opinium poll for the Observer is grim reading for Boris Johnson and his party. Johnson’s personal approvals fall below the worst figures ever recorded by Theresa May //
May was unpopular. She survived a VONC but was gone soon after.
Boris was very well known, warts and all, at the last election. We had a choice between him, and that useless Jezza. Boris is far from perfect but don't hear many people wishing we had got the IRA's mate instead.
