Unfortunately Gromits OP is correct. IMHO we do not have a Tory party in Government, we have Blue labour with a heavy tinge of green. What I dont understand is why dedicated Tories, of which I am one, dont fight to get rid of Johnson and his ruddy wife. They are not only wrecking the Party but the country too. As for the old but but labour, I'm afraid that is a false...

So. what are you complaining about if the government is doing what it set out to do?
Ever thought of emigrating, Gromit? Being as miserable as you are living here must be awful.
Yes we have problems at home and always will have some sort of unrest.

But the way things are heading you may not have to worry who's calling the shots here. I would be more focused on the madman in the Kremlin who could wipe this country off the map with 1 strike.

First things first!!!

The Fanboys of Failure are out in force today.

Sleaze and shambles - Not Boris’ fault.
Dire immigration - Not Priti’s fault.
High taxes, inflation, cost of living - Not Rishi’s fault.

And there is no defence, only pathetic jibes of ‘why don’t you emigrate’, it would have been worse if Labour were in power and it is all someone else's fault.
Gromit - I think we have seen strong defence & from you - nothing about what another government could have done!
Gromit // It would have been worse if Labour were in power//
At last an honest statement, give yourself a BA
All the problems highlighted in the OP are on par with the economy being closed down (almost) for 2 years. I didn't see anyone complain when our government decided to pay 80% of peoples income during the lock downs. For the ones on here who seem to be in the know, how long do your think its going to take to get the economy back up and running again.

Plus , who's going to do that for us, while we sit and complain???
12.34 Oh dear, Ttt has had his feathers ruffled again. hope it wasn't anything that I said. lol.
How many more times are you Boris worshippers going to fall for his Lies.....?

No it isn’t, it is doing the longest U-turn in history.
2010: Cut 20,000 police.
2015: Er why is crime out of control?
2019: We will employ 20,000 police
2024: That’s mended. Shame the population is 5 million more (probably all the foreigners they’ve let in).
Yaaaawn!
Wonder if Boris has written to Putin.
Thanking him for saving his neck.
"We are the Party of Low Taxation" said Boris ,
after he had hiked up Taxation. pmsl.

Yes - I always thought Rees-Mogg would do better!
14.02 "Always thought Rees Mogg would do better"
Better at what ? They are both good at Knocking Kids out. Between them they could form a football team.

// Today’s Opinium poll for the Observer is grim reading for Boris Johnson and his party. Johnson’s personal approvals fall below the worst figures ever recorded by Theresa May //

May was unpopular. She survived a VONC but was gone soon after.
All is not lost. The ‘disapprovers’ can vote for the other lot in a couple of years … and if they get what they want … they’ll wish they hadn’t.
Boris was very well known, warts and all, at the last election. We had a choice between him, and that useless Jezza. Boris is far from perfect but don't hear many people wishing we had got the IRA's mate instead.
When you get what you want .
....You don't want it.. proved by Boris's unpopularity.
