I would suggest it is not for the officers to determine the level to which this prisoner should be indulged.

The psychiatrists involved in her case should assess the degree to which her requests are to address a serious psychological condition, and to what degree she is simply manipulating the system for her own entertainment.

On the basis of their responses, a proper set of rules can be established, and advised to the officers to follow.

Why bother?

If manipulation and trouble is the aim, it's far better to sidestep standard alternative diets like Halal, and be a real pest demanding that food is blended - which is probably unique.

He is a he, Andy. And, no problem- if everyone can identify how they like... It would be hypocritical to suggest that white people identifying as black, those identifying as different ages (and he isn't the only one) shouldn't be equally able to.
Let's stick with facts... you can't suggest this is a woman, but not a baby. Why?

Presumably if the prisoner choses to 'identify as a baby' then as an under 10 shouldn't be in prison, being under the age of responsibility. The more we indulge this pick and mix gendering, the more this sort of nonsense will happen.

As pointed out, I concede that the prisoner is a man.

As far as 'suggesting' he is, or indeed is not, a baby, I have not offered an opinion either way.

My position is that appropriate analysis should be carried out to confirm that, as it appears, this is simply manipulation of the system for its own sake.

But it should also be ascertained that this behaviour is not the result of a genuine psychological condition, in which case it should be dealt with as such.
