The End Is Nigh…
Yesterday Boris Johnson lost his Party.
- Tory MPs rebelled to force a Parliamentary Inquiry into Partygate.
- A senior Tory told Boris ‘The gig is up’.
- Downing Street tried to avert the disaster, and made it worse.
- Hardly any MPs turned up in the Commons to defend their leader.
- Those that did turn up were highly critical of Johnson.
- The Tories set the whips on Conservative MPs, and lost.
- There was no vote in the end because there were no Tory MPs to oppose it.
This mornings headlines will be uncomfortable reading for the PM.

Their constituents didn’t vote for them - they voted for Boris because he was the only one willing to abide by the result of the EU referendum. If he stays those seats may well revert to Labour anyway - people have short memories - but they need to be careful what they wish for. They’re banging on about lies but will put their cross by a party led by a nodding dog of a man who, in his futile quest for popularity, doesn’t even have the gumption to acknowledge the difference between men and women so the prospect of him dealing with world affairs is unimaginable. Nevertheless, parliament and the electorate will do as it will so we shall see.
The EU referendum has been implemented and full marks to Johnson for getting us over the line.
However, one cannot live on past glories in politics so he needs to start addressing the problems the country has and stop the green net zero rubbish that people hate. The Greens are never voted in people dont want it. Doing it by the back door because his Missus wants it is not accaptable.
And it is that, not Partygate most want him gone. Get that back to HQ Naoimi.

//If only there was someone about who'd recently delivered a thumping majority........hang on//
Yes, but one needs to look at why that was a thumping majority.
Firstly, it was because he was the only one who offered to respect the majority wish with regard to Brexit. Al lot of traditional labour voters lent him their vote simply to get the will of the people implemented. And fair do's he did it. So this reason has now gone as have the lent votes.
Secondly look at who the choice was. Him or COB/Abbot/McDonell. Well you dont have to be Einstein to work out why some voted for him instead of labour. This has changed. Sir Kier, although I wouldnt vote for him is a decent man and certainly not a commie.
As I said above. In politics you cant live on past glories.

//You really think Labour wouldn’t pursue green issues, YMB? As I said, be careful what you wish for.//
No, I dont think that but why should that matter? Why should I accept a shoddy second rate green PM just because the opposition is as bad?
//As I said, be careful what you wish for.//
At the minute I dont think that we would be that musch worse off and I would be happy to have labour in for four years if it meant the Tories could become proper Tories and Govern for the next 20 years after.
I really dont see why I should accept and be happy with a PM who is not a Tory. Highest taxes ever, Net Zero, fuel poverty, no GP's completely useless NHS, thousands of illegal immigrants actually being helped inot the country by the RNLI and the tax payer funded Border Farce. Yes we had covid but covid cant be blamed for all the above.

The Ukraine crisis has become his lifeline, allowing him to claim (with some justification) that he gets the big decisions right. He sent arms to Kyiv before anyone else in Europe, and did so against Whitehall resistance. Even the Rwanda migration deal has impressed Tories: it’s a huge controversy which, they believe, has aligned the party with majority opinion.
As Boris will never resign, & even the Tory sceptics will stick to the 'devil they know', I'm afraid Gromit, you are stuck with him for the foreseeable future.
Maybe a few more "daft hats" from him, & probably more daft posts from you?

Its interesting that many keep stating that we should be focusing on more important issues than outing Boris.
Fist of all whats more important than making sure we don't have an idiot for an PM, and a down right liar. ( the latter just for TTT:)
One of the other most important issues facing the people of this country is the cost of living. Mr Sunak had his chance of putting some of this right a few weeks ago and failed, why? he was much to focused on looking after his, and his wife's nest eggs.
So in my view all the so called more important issues have been ignored. So lets get Boris done.

// You’re whistling in the wind with that one, gromit. He’s a newcomer to parliament. //
David Cameron was first elected in 2001 and was party leader by 2005. He was a newcomer. Browne or someone like him is needed.
Just someone else not associated with the current regime in No.10 who are all discredited.
