A fair point.
The difference between yesterday and today is that I have seen a television interview with Mr Parish in which he was never anything less than completely honest about his actions.
That means that I have adjusted my view of him from an arrogant idiot to someone who has acted foolishly, and is willing to accept the consequences of his actions.
Having said that, I still believe that his lack of judgement means that his resignation is the correct course of action.
It's a pity that others in the House who are increasingly trying to chicane out of mounting evidence of their own wrongdoing, and lapses in judgement, are highly unlikely to be as honourable in accepting the consequences iof their behaviour.
