Jno at 12.55 “…almost certainly illegal.”

Really?

If that were the case wouldn’t the police be involved?
Sqad - // I think Andy's talks would be well received, but if you were bored you could always watch porn on your mobile....-;) //

I'm going to file that under 'I wish I'd posted that!!!!!'.

I have to say though, on-board internet connections are notoriously patchy and horrendously expensive, you'd need to be pretty keen to sign up!!

Better to 'save everything' until you reach port.

The golden rule then is, follow the crew when they go ashore, they know were all the best free wi-fi spots are.
Oh aye, "free wifi" is what they seek ashore.
S Andy. You asked me to do 2 things

1. Examples of hypocrisy. Not doing that or naming names, so posted a definition.

2. Asked about comparison's. Hitler and a murdering policeman were hardly comparable to someone watching porn in the commons.
Deskdiary, I quoted the relevant statue earlier somewhere (public display of indecent matter). But as all available police are in Downing St looking the other way at anything illegal, I wouldn't bet on them noticing this either.
Sqad, I have never watched any porn whatsoever, nor have I ever taken recreational drugs, just for the record. I would be more than suspicious of anyone who has/does and would find it totally unacceptable of an elected politician. I know it happens but I give no sympathy to anyone caught out. People can think of me as they like, I don't care but I do have my standards to which I adhere.

a-h, I cannot imagine any circumstance which would compel me to listen to any talk of yours. Do you ever check your posts before submitting? I am wondering if you meant to type "momentary" and not "monetary"?

Don’t feel too sorry for him – although his gravy-train has hit the buffers (he has been riding it for some time),having been an MEP and then an MP since 1999, he won’t be on his uppers as a result of his behaviour.
You consider MPs to be on a gravy train do you Hymie?

I hold the unpopular belief that MPs are massively underpaid for what they do. Could you do their job for what they’re paid? I know damn well I couldn’t.
Choux, that is fine and that is your choice as is the level or otherwise of your moral standards.

I wouldn't distrust someone who watched porn and would judge him on his performances and contribution to society.

He was a fool, he was caught and reported and for that has lost his job and arguably his family and respect.
He has been judged by others and has suffered the fate of " how the mighty have fallen".

I think the price was too high....others disagree.
if their job involves looking for tractors on your phone when you are supposed to be engaged in running the country, probably yes
Question Author
I do what I consider a far more demanding job, for a lot less money – hence the belief in gravy-trains for our MPs.

I’d swap my job for an MP’s (salary £82k + perks) in a heartbeat.
Question Author
Someone on minimum wage would have to work 24 hours a day to match an MPs salary; if they wanted to match the perks, they probably need to work around 36 hours a day.

Oh, and that's 7 days a week.
> I hold the unpopular belief that MPs are massively underpaid for what they do. Could you do their job for what they’re paid?

What, watch porn on my phone for £67000 of the taxpayers' money? Yes, I think I could join the poor lambs and manage that ...
choux - // a-h, I cannot imagine any circumstance which would compel me to listen to any talk of yours. //

No-one is compelled, attendance is entirely voluntary and free of change.

I think we have established that you feel the need to be rude to me, and to go off-topic to do so.

I have noted your opinion, and dismissed it as irrelevant.

You can stop now, and return to the subject of the OP.
sqad - // I wouldn't distrust someone who watched porn and would judge him on his performances and contribution to society. //

Nor would I.

Unless he was my MP, doing it in the House, then I would, but you appear to skipped that bit, which entirely where we disagree.

You want to pass off his actions his action to be the sort of thing any man could do, anywhere and it is absolutely neither of those.
pat - Thank you for responding.

// S Andy. You asked me to do 2 things

As I said, I don't need the definition, thank you.

In my view, implying that someone or someones is or are hypocrites and then not naming them and giving them a chance to defend themselves is disingenuous, and poor debating.

I am perfectly happy to be called out if someone wants to disagree with me, and we can discuss it, and I would do the same for anyone else who I thought was being hypocritical.

That's simply a difference in approach, I don't for one minute expect you to agree with me, i am merely offering my view on your willingness to be rude to people, but not directly.

//2. Asked about comparison's. Hitler and a murdering policeman were hardly comparable to someone watching porn in the commons. //

Of course it's not, and i explained my reasoning behind it at 17:03, and again you have either not read what I posted, or chosen to ignore it, and I can;t do anything about either of those situations.

My reasoning is clear, if you choose to look for it.
Neil Parish said he had seen the doctor and that he had told him about his wife's lack of interest in the bedroom and the doctor told him to do something sexy to a tractor.

And that ladies and gentlemen is why he was looking at tractor porn!
LOL ^^^
Oh Andy - do you always have to have the last very longgggggggggg
word! ? ;0))

This is pretty short!!
