Transpires that the police inquiry into this MP began in Jan 2020. It was conducted by 'the Specialist Crime Unit'. Wow. Wonder what the non-specialist crime unit does all day.

it's odd, nobody seems to have ordered suppression of his name but nobody's mentioning it anyway. I'm not sure similar courtesy is always extended to non-MPs.
