Right now, the only persons in the UK who believe that Boris Johnson was not lying to parliament in his statements re partygate must be TTT and Naomi24.

Khandro @ 10:22 – if I was to be found to have been involved in such events at work during covid lockdown (as Boris has), I can assure you that I would be dismissed from my job.

It irks me (and virtually everyone else in the UK), that the person responsible for setting the rules (and publically urging everyone to follow them, which would otherwise result in the death of others) can glibly ignore the rules and make half-hearted apologies (for having wilfully done so), and not lose their job.
Hymie; what were you doing at the time - sitting on your butt & getting furlough pay from UK taxpayers ?
These people were running the country & having to get on with it, Interacting with others who had to do similarly. Boris Johnson caught covid & was in intensive care on a ventilator which risked his life. He would have been safer to follow the guidelines wouldn't he?

TTT @ 16:24 said ..... note the words, "you lot" that means a group, you belong to the same group as Gulliver, Hymie et al that only ever post about those things. Why are you lot so illiterate?

No wonder you are getting banned so often; as with Boris, you and the truth don’t make happy bedfellows. If you click on my avatar you will find that I post on many things having nothing to do with Brexit or Boris.

During the lockdown, I was at work (as normal) virtually every week day – although some in the department worked from home when they could.
But those of us at work were under strict orders to wear a mask (except when eating or drinking), observe social distance, wash hands regularly, check our temperature on arrival at work, and not come to work if we had any symptoms of covid, etc.

Had those of us at work sat around in close proximity to others, drinking alcohol – we would have been sacked.
He should be jailed for perjury.
Hymie ://But those of us at work were under strict orders to wear a mask (except when eating or drinking), observe social distance,//

Isn't that is what more or less is happening in the photos?

//Had those of us at work sat around in close proximity to others, drinking alcohol....//

It looks like the most boring party imaginable & the liquid refreshment on the table on these shocking photographic revelations looks suspiciously like fruit juice.

Move on & wise up, the main reason for all this cr.. p is due to the BBC keeping on fanning the flames because they are desperate to oust BJ because he wants to remove the unfair licence fee, & people like yourself who want him out of number 10, but are bereft of sensible argument.

Social distance at work was specified at 2 metres; although I must confess not to have examined the published photos closely – I presume from what you say, there is only one person in each photo.
The long-awaited Sue Grey report has been published, and revealed no major new information which wasnt already known. Hence the BBC going into overdrive at the thought of the PM cracking on with running the country and endangering their precious license fee.

so the Yorkshire ripper can go into court and say
yup I did it - OK out in the open,
that is an end of it - nothing more, I did it OK

And andie ( the randy one) OK it was itchy years ago
look at it now
There ! I said I did - she was over 16 you know....
dont tell my mum....kiss kiss ( sic) evrything gone
and Trump hey I told the crowd to march to the Capitol and wreck it and they did !
hey wadda ya saying, punish them for obeying orders?
ged oudda here !
Spungle, maybe you need to read the salient points again of the report?
For a government minister to email a colleague that they appear to have got away with things shows the level of disdain in which they view anyone bar themselves but especially the British public.
Also, their treatment of staff doing the menial tasks proves that they deem them as minions.
I wonder where those character traits were formed?
Ironically, those that defend them are being laughed at in exactly the same manner as those who question them.
They’re treating all of us with contempt but especially their supporters.
Fear not, Dominic Cummings has yet to deliver the coup-de-grace.

Only probing so far I think.
