The former attorney general becomes the latest to make it public that he has submitted a letter of no confidence in the Prime Minister.

He must surely be getting twitchy over the number that haven’t made it known publicly.
Educated guesstimates have it at over 40 in total thus far. It’s obvious that even his own party don’t believe the guff that was spouted last week and realise that he is now their biggest liar-bility.
Doesn’t history show that such matters usually escalate during a parliamentary recess?
I’ve a feeling the knives will be out shortly.

Shows how angry Bozo was at not being able to save his mate Owen Patterson. All he did was accept a brown envelope for asking a couple of questions in the House. And get caught. You have to admire Bozo's loyalty.

so your "manifesto" would be a pamphlet of negative stuff about the government. You don't think the public want to know what labour's intentions in the unlikely event they win a GE. Right oh!
When the incumbent government is so bad (as is this one), there is no need for the opposition to have a coherent policy agenda – the general public just want to get rid of this corrupt, dishonest, law breaking government.

Any political party (including the monster raving loony party) would be preferable to this shower.
Ahh that Jeremy Wright(always a Jeremy in there)? Crap at everything and despite trying him in various roles Boris realised that he was useless.

""Wright replaced Matt Hancock as Culture Secretary on 9 July 2018, serving in the post for a year until being sacked by incoming Prime Minister Boris Johnson in July 2019 and returning to the backbenches.""

Not sure why you keep banging on about Labour, ToraToraTora. It’s clear that the public have lost interest in politics and politicians and don’t have much regard as to who does take the reins, they just want to see the end of the stain on British history that is the ridiculous, bloated narcissist that is the current Prime Minister.
It would appear that anyone of any party would be deemed more trustworthy, honest and reliable.
Labour still wont win hymie, not matter how bad the Tory haters think the government is. The government has fought multiple crises since 2019 but all the 5C brigade can focus on is trivia.

Whatever ideas Labour have they certainly gave the Conservatives the idea of the windfall tax.
Maybe the public are starting to realise that they could be credible?
They’d certainly be considered more trustworthy and competent than the current bunch of miscreants in and around government.
Wake up and look at the damage Boris Johnson is doing to the Conservative party because 27 of his own MP’s certainly have.
Is there other agenda lurking in this creeps psyche do you think? How come he never resigns?

""In 2016, Wright became the campaign manager for Stephen Crabb's leadership bid for the Conservative leadership election. Crabb withdrew from the contest after coming fourth in the first round and transferred his support to Theresa May.
Wright campaigned for the United Kingdom to remain in the European Union before the EU membership referendum on 23 June 2016.
In November 2016, Wright was criticised by a number of other Conservative MPs for his role in the Government's loss of a High Court case which gave MPs and peers a veto over when Brexit begins. Although it was suggested that he should resign as Attorney General, Wright retained his position.
In July 2018, after a series of resignations in May's cabinet after her decision of a "Soft Brexit" was reached at Chequers, Wright was appointed to Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, after Matt Hancock was moved to become Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.""
fatticus: "Not sure why you keep banging on about Labour, ToraToraTora." - because I'm trying to make you lefties realise that if you think the government is so bad, your side must be worse, they, despite it being mid term, post crises, still would not win a GE tomorrow, let alone 2024.
Question Author
Ah right, so anyone that wants to see Boris Johnson gone is a lefty?
That includes the 27 Conservative MP’s too then does it?
Attacking anyone with blind panic and lashing out wildly at those with an opposing view?
Sounds like bunker mentality.
We all know how that one ended.
They'll get rid of him when they think he's an election liability - ie when he's a risk to their jobs - but not before.
Maybe we could save the poor dogs this time.

To be fair Douglas, he was acting under orders on that one, he didn’t want to incur the wrath of ‘er indoors.
She looks like she could throw a hissy fit to match Amber Heard.
fatticus: "Whatever ideas Labour have they certainly gave the Conservatives the idea of the windfall tax. " - have a day off, of course the government always new that was an option but it's a very un conservative thing to do, sad that they decided to do it frankly.
The familiar whirring sound of the freewheeling hub in evidence.

For someone so fond of dishing out English lessons your spelling on several posts has been dreadful this evening.
Plus you’re now disagreeing with the Chancellor and going against the government?
You sound bereft that they’ve used an idea first touted by the opposition and are now fearful that a combination of a rotten government and focused Labour party might see the end of the Prime Minister’s paltry and turbulent tenure.
The ad nauseum 5C comment is making you look dated and out of touch, the world has moved on apace since the McCarthy era.
so you are now attacking spelling, what is miss spelled? I can't see anything obvious but as I have clearly exhausted any actual intellect I thought I'd indulge your misdirection.

Your starter for 10 is:

Put a k in front of new.
I’m only pointing it out because you like to pontificate so often.
Put that catapult down when in the greenhouse.
FatticusInch @ 21.03 you have got it in one , spot on.
My thoughts exactly.
