The former attorney general becomes the latest to make it public that he has submitted a letter of no confidence in the Prime Minister.

He must surely be getting twitchy over the number that haven’t made it known publicly.
Educated guesstimates have it at over 40 in total thus far. It’s obvious that even his own party don’t believe the guff that was spouted last week and realise that he is now their biggest liar-bility.
Doesn’t history show that such matters usually escalate during a parliamentary recess?
I’ve a feeling the knives will be out shortly.

Shows how angry Bozo was at not being able to save his mate Owen Patterson. All he did was accept a brown envelope for asking a couple of questions in the House. And get caught. You have to admire Bozo's loyalty.

Can you not see how Bozo's dissembling, the denials, insincere apologies, investigations are sucking the life out of this government? The main criticism of the dullard May was that she was a little obsessed with her shoes. "Poor" old Rishi eventually had to give in and introduce a tax on energy companies, months after Labour suggested it. The Cabinet must spend its time discussing how to get out of Bozo's latest blunder.
Lol Nom, I’m in tune with reality, you on the other hand are failing to notice everything going on currently in the political landscape.
Or rather, you’re purposely ignoring it like some modern day Queen Canute. Tory backbenchers are wringing their hands in despair whilst Boris is actually laughing at the likes of you that laud him regardless.

Drmorgans,
That’s exactly it. Currently, the brief of every cabinet minister almost daily must be to defend the Prime Minister regardless and they really must wonder what sort of poo storm they’re going to have to deal with and defend today.
Whilst the country lurches into chaos, the Prime Minister thinks that a return to anything imperial with his weights and measure farce will get everyone back on side.
It’s like putting a plaster on a fresh gunshot wound.

Fatti, I’m not ignoring anything but, unlike you, I am retaining a bit of perspective - not least in my reluctance to throw this country under a bus and into the hands of a man who says nothing of any importance and doesn’t even have the guts to acknowledge that women don’t possess penises - and all in order to appease the spiteful.
demorgans, my problem with Mrs May was her determination to thwart the will of the people. Dreadful woman!

Ah, Neil has arrived!
Still not responding to the request to show where Johnson and his cabinet got the big calls right then?
If you won’t or rather can’t provide links, give us a list instead?
Take note though, sneaking a suitcase of booze past a Met Bobby doesn’t count as an achievement, nor does being the first sitting PM to break the law.
Changing the ministerial code to suit an agenda and/or serious errors of judgement won’t wash either, so let’s hear it, because the country are waiting for him to get on with delivering for the British people.
Btw, you do realise that the Tory back benches must be full of lefties and 5C’s too?
