He must surely be getting twitchy over the number that haven’t made it known publicly.
Educated guesstimates have it at over 40 in total thus far. It’s obvious that even his own party don’t believe the guff that was spouted last week and realise that he is now their biggest liar-bility.
Doesn’t history show that such matters usually escalate during a parliamentary recess?

Lol, I wonder why so many are former cabinet ministers, former chief whip, former leaders, long-standing and highly respected members of the Conservative party? They must be pinkos, they’re of the same mindset as I, ToraToraTora has labelled us as such?
As I’ve said to you before, their knowledge of the wheels and machinations of party politics is infinitely superior to yours so I’ll take their viewpoint.
They’re not feathering their own nests, they’re in a dogfight for their political lives, the PM pushed them into that corner.
They’re obviously nowhere near as deluded either, just disillusioned with the bad apple that’s turned the government reputation from sour to rotten.

Drmorgans, I agree with you. The Conservative’s huge win was enabled by the ineffectual Corbyn, but moreover by Boris’s pledge to get Brexit done - and make no mistake - no one else would have honoured the result of the referendum. People have short memories.

Lol, of course anyone else would have honoured the referendum, they’d be duty bound, the only problem with it was the wrangling, which, as it stands is turning into a nightmare for the PM who was a little sloppy with the finer points and detail around Northern Ireland when he signed it.
It’s presently coming back to haunt him, but right now is the least of his worries.

Pathetic Nom. Given that Cameron resigned over the result it was obvious he knew that the next in line was going to have to honour it. He also rather obviously knew that that would mean another Conservative Prime Minister would have to ensure it happened, or certainly set the wheels in motion.
So tell me how only Boris Johnson could be relied upon to do so when whoever was in post would have had to by whatever means necessary anyway, because Article 50 had already been commenced before he took power?
