Trade Between Uk And Northern Ireland
Düring Brexit negotiations Boris Johnson promised to abide by the Good Friday Agreement but as usual. This promise was soon forgotten. How can the Problems in Connection with trade between N. Ireland and UK be solved to satisfaction of UK, EU and N. Ireland?

One might wonder why we signed that agreement if it was obviously so idiotic ... just a reminder, it was the current regime under Boris Johnson that negotiated and signed the agreement, not the previous regime under Theresa May.

The only thing that solves this is a single market for goods. Boris Johnson signed up to something he either didn’t understand or didn’t intend to honour.
I’d have more respect for the govt’ position if they’d at least acknowledge their part in this state of affairs.

We can stay out of the EU but still join the Single Market by rejoining the European Economic area. Switzerland, Norway, Iceland all do this and get all the trade benefits, without being in the EU.
