Stanley has written books about environmental issues, he has served an MP and MEP. Maybe he would have been very good as ambassador.
Pretty sure he's never been an MP.

Don't know if he was man MP , but he did or wanted to serve on a Tv series called love island.
Nothing to see here.
Nothing to see? Really?

Seems Lord Goldsmith has selective memory loss too!?
The propensity for it in the Tory party is reaching endemic proportions.
Nothing is beyond Johnson Senior and Junior it seems.
Utterly shameless.
Lucky Boris is done really, maybe daddy-o might have been appointed ambassador to France in the north too distant future?

If Boris can give his lover £126,000 of our money – his father must be feeling hard done by at such small favours from his son.

Actually, that would have been a good appointment. Stanley knows his opions on climate. Probably more than his son has forgotten.

Not difficult though, Johnson forgets he’s at parties, forgets he met former Russian agents and forgets he appointed a sexual predator.
Memory like a sieve.
The obsession with Johnson continues.

He has gone for Gawd sake. Find someone else.
Stanley Johnson has previously worked at the World Bank and was the Head of Prevention of Pollution Division at the European Commission from 1973 to 1979. He has a great interest in the environment and has had books published on the subject. In 2010 he became chairman of the Gorilla Organisation, a body dedicated to saving the world's last remaining gorillas from extinction. He was previously a board member of Plantlife International.

Sounds like the ideal candidate to me.

Better tell the press that too.
The problem for the Party is that Johnson’s past and misdemeanours will undoubtedly mean that every dodgy decision he took or attempts at wangling jobs for friends and/or relatives will come to light and be pored over.
Better get used to it, the PSC has only just started taking evidence too.
and the London Assembly might want their £126,000 paid back – given that Boris lied to them over this matter.

Don’t understand that. Can you elaborate please.
While Mayor of London, Boris gave his mistress £126,000 of our money – there was an investigation (carried out by the London Assembly), in which Boris denied the woman in question was his mistress.
