Anyway - supposing NS were to hold Indyref2 & a large number of sensible Scots decided - "this is pants, let's ignore it" & didn't turn out to vote. If there was a 50% turnout and the result was 60/40 in favour of independence would the blue arrises claim victory with only 30% of the voters showing their support?

It does not matter who supports snp or not, you give Scotland and Scottish people a bad name . ( to the OP ) .

I want my country back,i want my flag back.It doesnt belong to the haters in the SNP,it belongs to the non-nationalists among all us Scots.By the way, anne, were you with the haters outside the Perth hall?
I thought the Editor or Spare Editor decreed recently that any comparisons/references of a current political party to the Nazi part would be immediately deleted?
Obviously not .
ABSPAREED posted, "Anyone referring to Scottish political parties as Nazis will have their answers removed and will possibly be suspended"

Not sure if she agrees that comparing the SNP to the Nazis is the same as claiming they ARE Nazis (in my view, it is) but I will contact her for clarification.

In the meantime, the OP should read up on Nazi policies and The Holocaust before she makes herself look more of a gype than she is already.

In the Brexit referendum, 37.5% of the electorate voted to leave.

It's interesting to note that in the first Scottish devolution referendum, there had to be 40% of the electorate voting in favour for it to succeed.

Had the same figure applied to the Brexit vote, we'd be in still although it could be argued that knowledge of that requirement would have encouraged more to vote.
I confess that I know quite a few who swear allegiance to The SNP and Sturgeon. I've known them all for years, some since school but I cannot understand and they're unable to make me understand the fascination of otherwise stable, normal folk with this tribal nonsense.

It's as if they're nearing retirement and need a hobby to get up for in the morning.

Anyway, I think there are enough of the other kind up here to see them off but like their song says they'll only "think again", nagging and gnawing at anything that could promote their intensely deluded vision of self-sufficiency and freedom, whatever TF that is.
IMO Westmonster are terrified of Scotland gaining their independence!

You're having a giraffe! Maybe Labour are but with the SNP out we will be virtually a one-party state.
