Pointless gibberish. There's not an election tomorrow and if recent history tells us anything it's that polls are often wrong. So remember this post come a general election and then tell us what happens. The clue is in the 'don't know' category. That's usually in the 20-25 per cent range. Only six per cent don't know? Rubbish.

Maybe, but all the recent record-breaking Tory loss by-elections tend to give an indication as to the mood.
They were certainly a deciding factor in the triggering of the VONC in Johnson that signalled the beginning of the end.

So, not only is the result of the poll largely irrelevant (as are all opinion polls taken two years prior to a General Election) but the results are not even as described.

I've spent most of my adult life listening to lies and suffering the broken promises of politicians of all persuasions. There is nothing particularly exceptional about this current era. As I keep advising: work on the basis that all politicians tell you lies and that all of them will make you promises whilst they are after your support that they have not a hope in hell of fulfilling. Very occasionally you will be surprised when you discover one of them has told the truth or keeps a promise. But most of the time you will know what to expect and will not be disappointed.

Really? Lying to the Queen, unlawfully proroguing Parliament, changing the rules to cover for a lobbying scandal, lying to Parliament, breaking the law whilst in office and changing the ministerial code, lying about knowing about the habits of a predatory sex pest?
I’d say there is something truly exceptional about this current era! Lol.
