If it's the right man I suspect they'll lock him up forever for his own safety.

Always happy to help.
I really hope it's the guy that pulled the trigger that's been arrested for murder, but do bear in mind that it's possibly one of his associates ...

(or somebody completely innocent of course, LOL).
He's been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Sounds like the shooter to me?
I've watched documentaries on 'Joint enterprise', no need to read anything. I just think the way it's being reported............

OK, the link in the OP does not mention the "gunman" being arrested. Nor, actually, does The Sun article, except in quotes in the headline! The article doesn't repeat that.

As I said, I really hope it's the guy that pulled the trigger, but it might not be.
Hmm - second murder arrest ...

In all likelihood the driver?
Well the one in hospital is hardly going to admit openly that he has dobbed the gunman in is he? No doubt he has told them who it was though. Hope they all get their version of justice when they get put inside.
If two people have been arrested for the murder, at most one of them pulled the trigger ... possibly neither of them.

Well the drug dealer who was shot was refusing to co-operate with Police and as the gunman was wearing a balaclava the chances of him identifying anyone would be minimal and certainly wouldn’t stand up in court, but no doubt he’s got a rough idea of who tried to top him.

To be established, obviously, but reports said the arrest yesterday was of a 36 year old make on two counts of attempted murder.
One would surmise that the 33 year old arrested today is in all probability the alleged driver?
The Police would already have had an idea who was involved, CCTV and phone work will come into play, along with forensics.
But let’s wait and see what develops, it’s all speculation until a charge is made.
Both released on bail, one returned to prison.

That I did not expect.
Maybe Police don’t have the evidential threshold yet and will build a case?
No mention of passport surrender for the other but I’d imagine that’s a given?
Or maybe both have been discounted?
Either way I hope there’s a breakthrough soon, I had expected the underworld to do the right thing in these circumstances.
that's not the news we wanted
Let's hope the police or the CPS haven't got it wrong.
I hope the killer is brought to justice and never sees the light of day again. Poor girl and her poor family :-(
