Purple hands - yes - I thought they were liver patches you get in old people when they bleed into the skin ( as part of old age).
I was referring Paigntone - to the stabbing in the back of Boris and of the Quote in the Times yesterday - how HE ( Boris that is) felt he has been done in ( "but that is how it is folks!")
" folded in a robe, done in with a black handled dagger in a murderous cauldron bath!" or something ( Cassandy) (*)
and Boris with the cartoon of "et tu Brute" done in before the statue of Pompey the Great - which was doing the rounds a few weeks ago
(*) big translation difficulties - it is deffo - "with a black horn" (melanchtho kerw) and not "made OF black horn", which would at least make sense
(*) eye witness acct in de divinatione (cicero) surprisingly - in quo cruciatu animo....
