When Diana's funeral was held I seem to remember that some events were cancelled - is this likely to happen with the Queen's funeral? I know some have been cancelled tonight and tomorrow (although wouldn't have though the Queen would want racing cancelled!).

Stop trolling, I had hoped that at a time like this the usual suspects would reign it in a bit.

Not as far as I know.
Donny races cancelled tomorrow.
ah, you mean on the day of the funeral?
No corrie for the rest of the week.
"When Diana's funeral was held I seem to remember that some events were cancelled - is this likely to happen with the Queen's funeral? " - yes xN.
"No corrie for the rest of the week. " - sad.
I imagine all events will be cancellled on the day of the funeral and it will be declared a public holiday.

Between now and then organisations with whom she had a special connection or a patronage may well pause their activities for a day or two to show their respect.
The weekends sports events will not happen.
Football, Rugby and Cricket will all be cancelled.
It looks likes a 10 day pizzup, be warned A&E.
Racing was abandoned after first two races tonight, and the whole of tomorrow's meetings have been cancelled. Given how much HM loved her racing, surely a truer mark of respect would have been to have allowed the racing to have taken place and to have dedicated each race to her memory.
Football still went ahead in London, Manchester and Scotland, tonight, though Burnley v Norwich is off tomorrow, as is the golf from Wentworth?
I reckon horse racing will go ahead. The toffs don’t care.
I bow to Kens better knowledge.
23:43, have a day off gromit, they'll go ahead for the most part, this ain't game of thrones!
I concur with Ken.
She’d be saddened that any event involving horses would be cancelled or postponed in her name.
The racing world of all others ought to be allowed to pay their respects as she’d no doubt appreciate.

Gotcha Fatti, but I'm a bit surprised it wasn't Gully :-)

Tora,
We’ll see.
My friends are telling all the weekend football has already gone,
I don’t know Rugby, but I Asume they will not play.
