They did what they THOUGHT was the right thing out of self interest for their own & their party's re-election (like all politicians would). But not necessarily the right thing for the country.

Really? What about the 60 ministers resigning in one day? Did they do the right thing too? Or only what they THOUGHT was the right thing?
