Just skimmed the first half at present Khan. Looks like a lot of speculation. In addition the reason for making Crimea part of Ukraine doesn't seem that relevant given that it occured at the behest of the Soviet authorities. I'll try to find time to look at the rest, but it does go on a bit, and hasn't looked that complex so far.
In 1991 57% of Crimeans voted to be part of independent Ukraine.
In 2014 a sham referendum was held in which the population was intimidated into voting the “right way”. This after Crimea’s autonomous parliament had been hijacked at gunpoint and a highly dubious vote held on holding a referendum. It was theft pure and simple.
Since annexation roughly 800,000 Russians have been settled in Crimea to boost the Russian population and many Crimean tartars, who had returned under Ukrainian rule, have fled persecution. Many are now being forced into mobilisation.
There was never much enthusiasm, even in Sevastopol, to join up with Russia, but as in Donbas, Russia TV propaganda was working on the locals to whip up nationalist sentiment.
Ironically, had not Putin launched his disastrous invasion in 2014 Crimea would probably never have been threatened,
As it is, thus attack today is more about putting the squeeze on Russian forces further north, tho the symbolic and morale boosting effect for Ukraine is huge.

The fuel train might have been coordinated to blow up at the same time but it’s hard to see how that could have been managed. Only Id have thought if there was a suicide bomber in the truck.
But I don’t think this was a truck that caused the explosion.
To really destroy a bridge you need to hit it from below - Ukraine has been hitting the big bridge in Kherson for weeks with missiles and although it is now out of commission it hasn’t been damaged the same way a single strike has done for this bridge. Mind you it’s probably far more shoddy in its construction.

Moscow residents saying all is running normally - although that doesn’t necessarily mean anything,
But that’s why the BBC isn’t reporting it Peter.
Not Marxist just a proper news channel and not a rumour mill :-)
Wagner-associated telegram channel tho saying Shoigu and Gerasimov may be purged. May, might, or should.
The fact they’re even saying it tho …
