Eu Re-Join March – London 22 October
Some of you may not be aware of the growing movement in support of the UK re-joining the EU given the disaster that Brexit has been for the UK. There are now many who believe the UK re-joining is inevitable.
For those wanting to attend the re-join march, the assembly point is the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London at midday.

To the Brexiteers amongst you, having failed to list a single benefit from Brexit despite my continued asking (on this site); the question now before you is to list a single negative that would result from us re-joining?

I understand Ukraine’s wish to join NATO, but please - share your understanding of why it wants to join the EU, together with Georgia and Moldova.
From what I’ve found online, Ukraine wanting to join the EU “goes beyond co-operation, to gradual economic integration and deepening of political co-operation.”

i admire them for standing up for a cause they believe in... i think everybody with the guts to protest in favour of their ideas should be encouraged to do so
but i don't agree with the cause... i think brexit has done a great deal of harm to the uk and will continue to do that but it is irreversible now... i wish we hadn't left and also that we hadn't left on the terms that we did but we're very far past the point of no return...

The wink - just a happy little emoji. Something to cool down the tone.
Regarding the three countries acceeding to the EU - I suspect they’re doing it for economic security and ease of trade reasons.
I don’t have the figures for whether they’re likely to be net contributors as my understanding is that value to the EU isn’t solely measured in hard cash - there’s also access to expanded markets (both sides) - that’s a very important consideration.

//SP, There's no 'heat' here to cool down//
But plenty of hot air about Brexit, even though they can’t list a single facet that has benefited the population of the UK.
Someone will be along shortly Sp1814 to tell you that you lost and you should get over it…..even though they can’t get over Johnson losing.

Okay naomi24 if you think so. To me, looking back I think I answered davebro’s assertion directly.
But I can see how that could’ve been misinterpreted.
Anyway - I’m summary, rejoin EU is not the way forward. It’ll just infuriate those who voted to leave. What Remainers have to accept is what’s done is done. We have to make the best of it and seek the opportunities Brexits affords the country.
And Leavers really need to do a much better job of providing evidence of the benefits of leaving.
