Deer are at their highest numbers in 1000 years, and will be culled...so patients in some hospitals will benefit. Surely a good thing...but there are some who believe lentils and beans would be better. Apparently it's a very popular choice in East Lancashire where it's been trialed so far.

Nature doesn't care for any species or individual, left to itself it is red in tooth and claw; and it's not the humans, who can look after themselves, that suffer when nature isn't managed, it's the species who have little ability to manipulate resources and end up fighting & preying amongst themselves.

Also we don't hold other animals to higher standards than humans. When they can build ships then they can pollute the oceans as much as humans are permitted to.
