No, I put an extension on a rockwool factory and to my surprise they actually made it out of rocks.
That's why I craftily said 'there can't be many that aren't'.
But well done Atheist for naming one that isn't. ✓
Can anyone else in the class name another one?
Zebu; I thought that lanolin came from sheep's wool.
Spicerack; yes, most insulation (and any manufactured product) must have energy input from somewhere in its manufacture. Doesn't necesarily have to be from fossil fuels, though.
Maybe we're wandering off the point a bit.
rockwool is better than, say, fibreglass, when it comes to insulation.....from an environmental perspective, that is. I could add that they were all 'stoned' when they came up with the idea, but I won't.
I see, we are wandering off the point, are we. Now you can see what a supercilious fool you've made of yourself.
There were big Volvo trucks full of coal racing around my rockwool factory. Can't say I noticed any windmills.
Spicerack; thanks for pointing out that I'm a fool - some others might not have noticed, so it's good to know that we have at least one fool-inspector on the alert. And it's good for me to be brought to account from time to time.
