The truth is there is no punishment to fit this crime. Human rights prevent anyone from carrying out the same torture on the guilty and to instill such fear of terror and pain. We are all well aware, as a result of many polls, that IF there was a national referendum on the subject of capital punishment in the UK - it would likely be 80% at least, in favour. The last one I read made lots of safeguards such as 12 months maximum allowable for appeals and hanging to be the most efficient and cost effective method of dispatching such evil people. But as we can all guess, our 'representatives' in Westminster are too liberal, too scared or just selfish in the decision to pursue the current laws.
