The only way to combat it is for us all to talk about it & be critical of it, - as we are doing - & more and more people are I'm glad to say.

I really think the tide is slowly turning; most of these references today are now laughing at the 'woke' & I don't think there are many people who would actually say, "I am woke" any more.

A new phrase, "Go woke, go broke" is doing the rounds, PayPal shut down Toby Young's Free Speech Union account because of something trivial they didn't like, which created an enormous s*** - storm, with thousand of people closing their accounts which in turn led them to embarrassingly have to re open the account again & I'm sure they will think twice before doing it again & so will a lot of other businesses who witnessed it.
