In September of this year alone, more than 500 migrants were deported. 100+ of which were Albanian.
During BoJo's term in office, over 80% of claims made by Albanians were successful.
You're probably now asking, why?
The British system of immigration can distinguish that not all who come here from Albania are economic migrants. Each case is judged on its own merits!
As you might imagine, living in a narco state will inevitably lead to some of its citizens being disenfranchised. Persecuted even.
BoJo's government presided over a system that was to identify some Albanians were in genuine need of our help.
Why are you unable to reason this?

Zebu, // People coming here on small boats from France are coming from a safe country. //
////Few would dispute this. ////
So stop the purposefully emotive hand-wringing about desperate people fleeing to safety. They're not. Not a single one of them..
//Instead of waving your admonishing finger at those migrants who have been successful, shake your fist at BoJo.//
Why? I seem to recall the unnamed, unelected judges of the ECHR once again overriding the ruling of our own courts and blocking efforts to extract illegals.
Meanwhile, not only are they costing us a fortune and putting services under severe strain, we now have the dubious pleasure of long-eradicated diseases being reintroduced into this country - the latest Diphtheria. Lucky us, eh! You may worm and squirm and change tack as much as you like but the simple fact is these people are not fleeing danger and their presence here offers no benefit whatsoever to this country. Quite the reverse.

// costing us a fortune //
No need to fret. It works out to less than 5 times the foreign aid budget. Just a tiny fraction of our GDP.
// Diphtheria. Lucky us, eh! //
More grounds to support our foreign aid budget. Tackling diseases at source. i.e., the country where these pathogens are born. Boris on the otherhand, chose to slash our overseas aid.
// blocking efforts to extract illegals.//
Since the grace period expired in the summer of last year, post Brexit, we havnt been able to get a sausage into Northern Ireland. What chance of getting a full grown adult into Rwanda? Flawed policy laid firmly at the feet of BoJo.
//Why?...{cut}...overriding the ruling of our own courts //
So no apportionment of blame on BoJo's ineffective measures in preventing migrants coming here in the first place.... Throwing money at the French. Another BoJo flawed policy.
Are there no lengths you will not go to in defending the theatrical bumbling of BoJo's record?
To protect his inadequacy you're prepared to play a part, any part, except that of a mute!

fie fie - some not very mimsy thoughts on this thread - from the leaders of Mimz - is it really appropriate for AB ?
I only ask because that was er exactly what was said to me - on the subject of the death of famous scientist Luc Montagnier - not mimsy to mention death - and out it went!
non sequitur - and AB it is never to early for a non-sequitur of howling proportions - one immigrant is a rapist, so all are
ho hum - AB - BA shows both faces (5) - Janus

Zebu, it’s said that attack is the best form of defence but for that to be effective a cogent argument, something you clearly don’t have, is essential. You're hurtling headlong from one illogical - and irrelevant - argument to the next and contradicting yourself along the way. May I suggest that should you wish to launch into yet another foray, you construct your rhetoric a little more astutely beforehand because as it is you’re not coming across as entirely rational.
Naomi, Thank you for your last post.
I shall waste no time in reading it.
Look! Understandably it's a slap in the face for those who voted Brexit. To seize back control of UK borders and reduce mass immigration. However this is by far the whole story,
The positive impact of immigration on the UK economy is undeniable. There are currently over one million jobs that remain (apologies if that is a dirty word in your vocabulary) vacant.
From your penultimate post, you raised concerns about cost and infrastructure. There is little credence in those who hold views regarding this. For the rhetoric is always one of gross exaggeration.
To promote UK growth is the way forward. Getting people into work, to fill those vacant posts. If you want a robust infrastructure, then growth is the answer.
Sadly over many decades, public services have been underfunded, hence the decline in standards.
On a brighter note and not before time, housing issues are at last being addressed. There are new build programs going on nationwide. This along with the conversion and renovation of old buildings, particularly on brown field sites, thus providing more accommodation like we havn't seen before.
Unfortunately you have allowed yourself to become indoctrinated by a populist newspaper. Its sole aim to sensationalise at every opportunity in the hope of increasing its circulation.
Unwittingly you have fallen into its readership.
