What with Harry's extraordinary attack on his brother and Meghan's take on Meghan being perfection personified, can the rift ever be healed?
Harry spoke quite wistfully, I thought, of his life with his family, an impression that didn’t diminish when he referred to his Californian residence as 'home sweet home' and said this is where he is meant to be, or words to that effect. Somehow I couldn't quite believe he meant it. It's all so very sad.
"If pnly they could do it more privately and stop bunging up the newspapers with their antics."
It's the fault of the newspapers and their readers that we're being saturated, not H&M.
If people refused to read stories about them, then newspapers would simply turn elsewhere.
Sixty-five stories (Daily Mail) in 24 hours isn't covering the story, it's swamping their readers.
If England won the World Cup and your newspaper of choice dedicated the first thirty pages to the story, would you write, "Why are the England team swamping my paper?"
"Their titles were conferred upon them. As the wife of the Prince of Wales, Diana’s title was hers by right."
Interesting...so should Harry revert back to being Prince Harry. That was his title by birthright.
Thinking about it - haven't you got it the wrong way around? Diana was only a princess because she was married to a prince. It was conferred upon marriage.
SP, Harry will always be a prince. That is his birthright. Diana was a commoner. She only became a Princess because she married the Prince of Wales. Katherine wasn’t a Princess until Charles became King and William became Prince of Wales. She is now Princess of Wales.
Yes, I had an opinion but only really from TV news. But to be honest before Netflix it was all getting boring. I don't do social media. I have joined in some discussions on AB though. But don't count that! ;0))
The point is that they're all the media. The news, Netflix, the papers ... all "media". Everything that you think you know about Harry, Meghan, and their relationship with the Royal Family, has been shaped by the media that you got it from. Unless you know them personally, that is.
Ellipsis, they are all media but the stars of this Netflix offering are telling their story, as they see it, in their own words. There’s no journalist bashing a keyboard and writing whatever he thinks fit.
