Have We Reached The Point At Which The Continuing Tory Corruption Is No Longer Newsworthy?
Boris Johnson’s latest corruption scandal hasn’t even been worthy of anyone raising it on AB.
I would almost certainly be dismissed from my job for doing what Boris did, given my employer’s ethics code – not that Boris is PM any longer.

//To be fair, I don't think it's just Tory corruption. I would say that there are corrupt politicians in all parties, including the one of which I am a member. I reckon it's always been that way and is unlikely ever to change. It's just the way it is. //
Exactly, they've all got their snouts in the trough.

As I’ve already posted on this site, I work for a FTSE100 company – the company’s code of ethics applies to all employees, including the CEO.
It’s surprising to me that such corrupt behaviour seems commonplace and accepted amongst ABers in their employment – I’d make sure your employer does not have any similar ethics code; such as my employer.

No, Hymie. The reason why news like this gets ignored is because there are one or two posters who, for reasons unknown, are obsessed and post bile on a daily basis against the government. The boy who cried wolf syndrome.
When there is actually something remotely newsworthy, no-one pays the slightest bit of attention to the attention-seekers.

The idea that a belief in Global Warming is a luxury for well off nations, and that the world’s poorest cannot afford to be so fussy, is both simplistic and glaringly wrong.
Man made climate change will affect the poorest the most because they cannot afford to escape. Because they are poor probably means they are not a major culprit for the most greenhouse gas emissions, but that does not mean they are helpless.
