U R G E N T Cheese Warning
Tesco said: “We’re recalling one date code of Tesco Creamfields grated cheddar 500g. This is because it may contain small pieces of clear, soft plastic which could make the product unsafe to eat.”
The product affected is 500g Creamfields grated cheddar, with a best-before date of 23/03/23.

I can never understand why people buy cheese at all. But then I have a cheese allergy which is quite handy because I cannot stand the taste or even the smell of the stuff.
Lot of unjustified hype over cheese - basically spoiled milk that anyone with any sense would pour down the nearest drain rather than put it on their Cornflakes. Perhaps the plastic in the cheese that is the subject of this warning may make it slightly less unpalatable.
