I read that the abandoned house is actually lived in by someone, this person said they had a look around the house and nobody was there. Have the police searched this whole house and outbuildings, also there is a caravan site nearby.

I haven't read that they have, smurfchops. We would hope that they have done. I expect with lack of resources, they can only do so much. The hypothesis is that she's sadly in river. The sister is encouraging everyone not to take this as fact, and to keep looking out for her and any possible clues out there.

Hi Patsy, lack of resources doesn’t sit well with me .. I just feel someone has taken her ( and no I am not psychic) it’s just a feeling, the big old house and caravans have to be searched, no good police saying “maybe” she fell in river. Not good enough. Will they just stop searching, if so when ?

I've not long read on a news comment thread, that recently, a man chased a woman along a canal path, a possible kidnapping? Not that far away from this sad case. A place called Barrowford. I wonder if police have considered this a possible link?
