Good Luck To John Lydon
He is hoping this song of his will be picked as Ireland’s entry for the Eurovision song contest.

The song is devoted to his wife who has Alzheimer’s. He said when they went to Hawaii it was their best holiday ever, before she became poorly.

The song hasn’t actually been chosen to represent Ireland yet ;-)
As for who would win, and would it be Ukraine or not, well as anyone who actually follows it will know there are two lots of votes: juries and phones. Last time Ukraine cleaned up on the phone vote but did less well in the juries - in fact the UK didn’t give any votes to Ukraine at all.
The UK did better with the juries.

I have always loved John Lydon's voice, especially with PIL.
I spent a wonderful afternoon with him years ago, interviewing him for a magazine.
He is sharp as a tack, with a wonderfully dry sense of humour, and a complete handle on the music business, and what it did to him, and how he has emerged entirely on his own terms.
I hope he is chosen.

Well done Gromit. Smow did indeed have the handle on this. The lyrics are probably a reflection of what he says to his poor wife to comfort her ... and in some way himself.
""All journeys end
Some begin again
We're here, you and me
Hawaii (hawaii), remember me
I remember you, Hawaii (hawaii)
Hawaii (hawaii), remember me
I remember you, Hawaii""
