Police Confirm Body Is That Of Nicola
In a 5.30 press conference, Lancashire police have confirmed that the body pulled from the River Wyre yesterday, is that of missing Nicola Bulley.

It's quite easy if you are familiar with rivers. This was a mile away, that is a lot of river to search. Looking underwater in a river, especially in the UK winter is very difficult, you really cant see much due to the bottom being swept up making the water murky and the reeds/ plants.
Most bodies are found by the public, usually because the body has decomposed creating gasses that make it float and/or dislodge it from where it is caught.
