School children in our Borough were given a silver spoon st silver spoon at the last coronation. We were posh!

Not bothered either way, it's a tradition, and many people set great store by continuity. I suspect many places would already have swapped Elizabeth II, for Charles III by now.

I think one lived a pious life and the other exactly the opposite. Yet they both reigned for over 20 years.
A middle of the road path might see this third Charles get his 20 in.

It's a tiddly amount in the great scheme of things. The government spends £260m a year on homelessness, last year spent £37 billion of the cost of living help including £15 billion on the energy bill rebate package.

I think they'll find this £8m down the back of the sofas.
