Tory MP Suella Braverman has claimed £25,000 to pay household bills .
She claimed this tax payers money ,to pay for energy usage and other costs while she was living rent free at her parents £1.2 million house while she was just visiting her Constituency. Miss Braverman who earns an extra £67,505 on top of her salary of £84.00 Mps salary says ,she needs this money to fund the home she stays at while visiting . but she forgot to say the house she is fundind belongs to her parents and she is only visiting.
...................They just can't help it can they........................
Donald and Suella entwined in some lush suite in at Balmedie or Turnberry defies imagination...well, I hope it does, given the Don's stances towards the Hebrew population....
I dont charge my relations to stay to pay rent - even if it more than one night ! - but a few parents do....
Here, Suella's mama is paying for home office expenses and I have to say I would share reluctance - esp if Mandarins and hangers on swept in and out on expenses.
Colonial thing - none of the ex colonials charge their children rent, Imperial thing - all the Andie Capps in the country, did.
rent - you cant see above
it has to be an expense - and for us proles, wholly used in the work activity
AND even if your parents charge, you cant claim ( at least those were the rules when I last looked)
That's my point, gully. If she didn't stay at her parents she would have rented elsewhere and claimed rent, heating, council tax, insurance and all the rest of it
Choosing to move back with your parents, instead of choosing the freedom of your own place. Should that really change what you can or can't claim ? Do folk really prefer telling her that she must get a separate place ? Seems a strange thing to get het up about.
