Happy New Year everybody.

Did anybody see the London Fireworks...breathtaking.

Absolutely wonderful but nowhere near as loud as the ones near us who managed to wake 3 small children (2 of which are not mine and now want their mum). I love fireworks but tonight, BAH HUMBUG!

We watched the London Fireworks aswell, absolutely fantastic. I wonder how they'll top that for the Olympics!

Happy New Year to ALL.The London fireworks had to be the best ever,what a fantastic display.Our daughter is in Sydney and we watched their display too, also excellent but they had a bridge as a "set-off" point and we had the London Eye which I think lends itself to launching a display such as we saw last night.WONDERFUL.

I know that a display such as that can play havoc with young children and animalsbut hopefully there were not too many traumas as a result of the celebrations.

Glad someone wrote this, the fireworks were better than the milliunium 2000. Brill finally they got it right.

not a patch on the fireworks in Edinburgh though, which werer absolutely spectacular as ever, complete with the castle as a backdrop. Stunning.
