Its readily available if you know how to look on line. There are all sort's of factors though- birth rates, death rates, immigration/emigration.

This is how this will go.

If somebody can be arsed to post the numbers, which will show they’ve gone up, Gulliver will say it’s due to Brexit and what happened to policing our own borders, even though it’s been explained to him time and time again that Brexit no longer allows unfettered access to residents in the EU, and that Brexit has nothing to do with the illegals arriving.

It’s an easy distinction to understand. For most.
And if its gone down he'll say its because we kicked out so many EU workers .
Can't you make this post about Boris, just for variety?
gone up from 65.6mn to 68.9mn. Probably all illegal immigrants and their babies (and Boris's).
According to the following link, the current population is 67,736,802 and the population in 2016 was 65,655,203.

Hover your cursor over the top graph and you can see the population for any year. Make sure you have both graphs in view, because the year appears below the bottom graph.
Nice one, jno! We got Boris in there somehow, Gulliver will be chuffed.
Has anyone mentioned to gully that today Germany (economic hub of the E.U.) went into recession and the UK didn't? Just asking.
"There are all sort's of factors though- birth rates, death rates"

Well, I never knew that...

I am prepared to accept Jno's Figure @ 20.54 .
Can't think why..... but I do .
I knew you'd know Jimf but wasn't sure gulliver would as his obviously on his 'taking control of borders' topic and thinks immigrants are good when he wants to and bad when he wants to depending on his drivel agenda

I thought the population of the UK would have been well above 79m the way the Tory Party has allowed immigration to swell since Brexit .
Despite all them key workers from EU you said had been kicked out???
How can the infrastructure possibly keep up with these numbers? What do the 'let em all in' brigade think?
Question Author
Think the UK is in danger of sinking . But how much lower ...???
Far too many people in this country and its all the foreigners who breed like rabbits and expect the taxpayer to look after them.

Too many in London and the South East, expecting decent services, and not enough in North and South who know they'll get nowt.
Clearly it would have swollen as much, and most likely more, had we not had Brexit. The incompetence of present political parties to tackle the issue can surely not be permanent.
One good thing Brexit has given us is shown here.

No longer can the Government hide behind the EU and blame their rules. What is happening is down to their failure to stop it.

And it will be the same if Labour get in. Nowhere to hide now.
